Since 2004, the “Malaysian Chinese Export Commodities Exhibition & Investment Conference” has been held the 6th by department of commerce, and gradually grows from a comprehensive show to the international professional exhibition in transition. In 2009, the show has developed into three major themes of professional development, machinery and electronics, household items and jewelry exhibition, food and beverage exhibition. These three exhibitions was held in the same period and 443 exhibitors from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, South Korea and other countries and area take part in the exhibition. Transactions made on the exhibition is(including the intention to turnover) about $ 84,300,000.

Yiwu International Chamber of Commerce official introduced that “Malaysia Chinese Export Commodities Exhibition & Investment Conference” was described as the most influential overseas extension of the exhibition, and that the exhibition location of “regional international professional exhibition” provide an effective trading platform to enterpreneurs and further guide the enterprises to develop based on the Malaysian market and expand to ASEAN, South Asia and the Middle East. It is reported that this year’s fair will continue to organize  more bilateral investment conferences between China and ASEAN countries. And the participants includes ASEAN local governments and Southeast Asia buyers.
