Have you ever wondered who made the first balloon? Well I’m about to tell you. The very first rubber balloon was invented by Michael Faraday in the year 1824. It was an experiment at the Royal Institution in London. A year later toy balloons were introduced by Thomas Hancock.

There are many different types of balloons. Balloons come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. There are different patterns of balloon colors. There are birthday balloons, balloon animals,helium balloons, balloon bouquets, water balloons, and then there is always the classic balloon you blow up from an itty-bitty latex balloon shaped material. Balloons all have one thing in common, they were a patent for just a couple of inventers.
